After upgrading to WatchOS 10 activity complication is missing

Instead of trying to add the Activity complication, select a watch face where the activity rings are the main feature. Tapping on the rings will likely instruct you to download the Activity app from the App Store. Do this and then re-add the complication on the desired watch face. It worked for me…

• select watch face with activity rings.
• set as current watch face
• tap activity rings ON WATCH FACE
• watch will ask you if you want to go to Apple Store to download activity app.
• download
• go back to iPhone.
• select watch face you desire
• activity rings will be available to choose as complication.

I had the same problem after a recent update in summer 2024 and finally figured out the Fitness app had somehow been uninstalled from the watch.

Open the app store on your watch and see if the fitness app is installed.

I had the same issue after the upgrade to Apple Watch IOS 10.6. My activity complication/widget was missing on my watch face. What I did to address this issue was to place the watch on my wrist, login with my passcode, then pressed in on my watch face so that I was given an update to edit the watch face from the watch, THEN my activity complication appeared. I'll see if that happens tomorrow naturally (i.e. show on its own), or if I'll have to go back and press the watch face again to get it to show.

I don't have that with mine, I am on an Apple Watch 7, using the World Time face.

I have the Activity Rings top left, Battery top right, Today's Date bottom left, and Stocard bottom right.

I do however have a weird colouring issue, where the top left complication (not matter what complication), seems to be on the same colouring layer as the center face, where as the other 3 complications are correctly on their own layer.

So I have an Orange face, which makes the complications White with Orange highlights, the top left is all Orange, but the others are correctly mixed colours.

Same. My watch face changed because of it after the update. I had huge middle complication with fitness rings. Now it's gone. This is why I am reluctant to update my Apple devices -- because every time it's a gamble what they are going to break now.

Extremely upset with Apple.
