Usually whenever I have a timer running on my Apple Watch, the emblem will show on the upper center of the screen indicating this. Ever since I upgraded to watchOS 11.4 last night, it has disappeared. It would be nice to know that I had something running in the background.
I have the same issue, but with media playback (like Podcast, Spotify…) since 11.4. These small icons are now missing whenever I play media on connected iPhone.
”Unpair and set up as new watch” option is pretty harsh.
“Set up as new watch” is logical and relevant process only when you set up your watch for the first time. Make a hard reset every time the software developers screw up the new software update, I find ridiculous.
Besides, 95% of “set up as new or reset your device” solutions don’t solve the issue.
It looks like you don’t have this issue yourself, so you didn’t solve it through hard reset. How can you guarantee that it will work for us?

Take it or leave it, it is standard practice when you are in trouble like this.
No i don't have this particular problem but I have been helping watch owners get out of the mire for two years and Apple users for 13 years so please keep your judgement to yourself.
I will definitely leave it, thank you. If hard reset is a standard practice for bugs like these, then we have a bigger problem.
For bugs like these, I would report to Software Developers for bugfix asap… Only when my watch doesn’t respond or some heavy stuff like that, I would make a hard reset.

It still works on my SE. Try force restart - hold in both crown and side button til apple appears then release.
If no better unpair and set up as new watch.
