My AirPod pros (generation 2) are not updating even though I downloaded iOS 17. How do I update the firmware?
I’ve already tried resetting them and let them charge for an hour and still nothing.

As iOS 17 is still in beta and has not been officially released, there is a possibility that you may run across bugs. This includes possible issues with connected devices like your AirPods.
This isn't something to actively troubleshoot and we'd would recommend submitting a report using the Feedback Assistant app installed on your device.

Something else you can do is to test pairing them with another device that has the current publicly available iOS 16.6.1 version installed. If the AirPods continue to have issues, reply back with details.
