What is the best way to record concert videos with my iPhone?

Hey Community!

I was just curious if you guys had some insight on best practices here. I go to a TON of concerts and love recording videos for me to look at later and remember the experience.

Since I’ve gotten my iPhone 14 Pro Max, I’ve tested it out a little and read online that maybe HD and 30 in the top right when shooting videos is best for capturing live concerts. However, it seems like when I go back and rewatch the videos, they are quite muffled (compared to the live experience - not really capturing how loud and energetic the atmosphere of the concert was). I also notice when shooting the video it flickers/glitches a lot.

Are there certain settings you guys would recommend on the camera for shooting concert videos? I’m not sure which setting is best to go into on my phone and change: Microphone/Volume/Camera/Video/Speaker? All of the above? Haha. Would it matter if I held the phone upright as opposed to sideways? Any feedback would be immensely appreciated!

Again, these concerts mean so much to me and therefore I really want to capture the moment as close as I can to how it felt in person!
