While I’m watching a show the Apple TV out of the blue fast forwards the show 10 seconds. Keep happening on every show and and App I use. I have Tried deleting the apps and restarting, resetting, and updating my Apple TV and nothing is working.
it’s weird it even fast forwards itself when the show is paused.
please help!!

does not seem like remote is the issues. It still does it when remote is out of range. Even when we use our phones as control with out the remote near by the Apple TV starts blinking on its own and then it starts fast forwarding itself while watching any show even when I’m watching live tv.
but what’s weird is when the Apple TV light starts flickering while we are in the Home Screen trying to chose another app, everything works normal. But light is flicker as if sOme one is trying to fast forward.
any suggestions ?

maybe a physical button on the remote is the issue, if it was me then I would try taking the remote out of reach and maybe use the remote app and see if it still does it
