I have an iwatch with the previous owner's email and they forgot to factory reset. What do I do?

I factory resetted the iwatch series 3, 42 mm with gps, but when i tried to pair the iwatch with my iphone, it's asking for previous owner's email and password.

You need to have the previous owner follow the advice for removing the watch from their Apple ID in

What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your Apple Watch, or buy one from someone else - Apple Support


There is a section which describes how to do this using a web browser, even without the target device.


If you can't reach the original owner or they will not cooperate, you can't complete the setup for your use.
