Audio MIDI Setup: Custom icons in Monterey?

It used to be within the \users\<user>\library\audio folder there was a sub-folder called MIDI Devices. You could add icons to that folder that would show up in Audio MIDI setup.

I no longer have that folder in Monterey, and yet the custom icons I added in previous OS versions are still showing up. I want to add new ones, but Search seems unable to find any of the MIDI folders in the Library (permissions issue?).

Any ideas? The only other topic I've seen here talks about Ventura, but I'm on Monterey and the steps in the Ventura topic don't work.

Thank you, that's what I needed! Because I didn't have the "system files" criteria it wasn't finding the MIDI Devices folder.

Which for other folks who want to know:

The path is \Macintosh HD\Library\Audio\MIDI Devices\Custom\Images

If you don't have a custom folder you may have to create it.

Note: There are several libraries, including under System and under each User. The one you want isn't one of those, it's the "root level" library.

I can't help with the actual issue, but to search the Library folder, set Finder Preferences to Search current folder and search the open Library folder. You may have to also add System Files are included to the search criteria. Add a criteria line and choose Other… from the popup menu. Add System Files to the list and use it.

I'm not using Monterey, but I have a MIDI Drivers, not MIDI Devices.
