Checking for any uptick in CPU usage or any potential crashes.

Is there a way to check my 2019 MacBook Pro log history for any upticks in CPU usage or possible crashes that may have occurred. I am running Serato DJ Pro Software and outside of the Activity Monitor, is there anyway to check in the System Report where any issues have occurred?

You can use Console to view log messages collected by your computer and other connected devices. These log messages may deal with system events, dialog text, errors, status, and other communications. If a problem occurs, you may be able to find information about the cause of the problem by viewing either log messages or activities. See View log messages in Console on Mac.

In particular, Console compiles various reports that provide general diagnostic data, as well as details about your computer’s operating system and apps. See View reports in Console on Mac. Hope this helps!

Sure - " Console " located in the same place as Activity Monitor

Refer to below and " pick your poison " from the 6 different Categories on the Sidebar in Console

Most, if not all , info in any of the Categories are basically " Developer Talk " or " Software Engineer Talk " that Only they will understand

Unless the computer is exhibiting unusual behaviours - shifting through the Log Files - IMHO is wasted time for we

" Normal Humans "

You make well spend your productive time enjoying what is done on this machine " running Serato DJ Pro Software "

The Console used to be a good place to Trouble Shoot back Snow Leopard times but with each newer version of OS X / macOS - Console would the last place I would go.
