Assuming this is an external physical keyboard, and not the onscreen one, tap on the Globe icon at the bottom of the screen or use the control+space bar combination and make sure they keyboard is set to the correct language you want to use.
Different languages may have different layouts and offer different characters for the same keys.

It sounds like you have a spanish keyboard active by mistake. Go to settings > general > keyboard > keyboards and remove Spanish from list.
Also go to settings > general > keyboard > hardware keyboard and tap over at the right edge and make sure that you have US or ABC and not Automatic or Spanish checked.
I'm guessing you have Latin American active, as it seems to have the kind of wrong keys you mention
I’m don’t think this is a language issue. If you have an external keyboard clean it very well and check to make sure you don’t have any settings on that might affect keyboard performance such as Sticky Keys. If you are talking about your built in keyboard which I assuming you are then clean your iPad Pro very well, update it to the latest versions, and restart it. If these tips and my advice do not work contact Apple Support.

If you try setting your hardware keyboard to Latin American, you should be able to duplicate the same wrong mappings as Simonetta reports.
