Classical app playlists not working right

I have created several playlists using the classical music app. When I try to play via the play button at the top of any of them, nothing happens. If I tap on any one of the pieces in the list, none of them work either. I have to tap on the title of a piece in the list and then have it bring up the entire list of artists listed, find the one I had put in my playlist, and then click on the play icon to start it. Is the app that clunky???!!!

Update: I found out by experimenting, that if I am inside the “Classical” app, the only way I can play any particular song on a playlist, is to select one particular track in the list, tap the three menu dots to the right of the selection and select “Show album”, and then select play. It will then play that particular selection, but not the whole playlist.

Hello CLG4,

Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities, and we'll be happy to help in any way we can. We understand you're having issues with playing music in a playlist. To start, which device are we working with? Which exact version of macOS/iOS/watchOS are you updated to? We want to make sure we provide the correct guidance.

Have you tried restarting your device? This simple step resolves a multitude of issues.
