Phone Straight to Voicemail

I just replaced my SIM card (advised and shipped per my carrier). Now my iphone se 2020 goes straight to voicemail. No opportunity to accept call. Did I do something wrong?

iPhone Calls Going to Voicemail on iPhone 13 when I received calls on my iphone 13 pro, the phone rings one time and goes straight to voicemail. If the caller calls back, the call is received and I can pick up. I have had apple run hardware and software diagnostics (no hardware issues), AT&T has changed out my SIM card and even transferred to me an e-SIM, I have hard reset my iphone, with no success. I took my SIM card and tried on another iPhone and the problem continued. I tried someone else's SIM card in my iPhone with no issues, thus no issue with the iPhone. AT&T cannot solve. Anyone else have this problem?

How do I update my voicemail greeting on iPhone 16 Pro Max after using the SIM in an old iPhone SE? Hi, I’m hoping someone can help with an issue I’m having. I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max with two SIMs: an EE eSIM for my personal number and a physical Vodafone UK SIM for my work number. When I went on holiday to Sri Lanka in March 2025, I took the Vodafone SIM out of my main phone and put it into an old iPhone SE so I wouldn’t get work calls while I was away. When I got back, I reset the iPhone SE and moved the SIM back into my iPhone 16 Pro Max. Since then, my voicemail still tells callers that I’m on annual leave, even though I’ve updated it through Vodafone. When I call my voicemail to check, it plays the correct, updated greeting. I’m wondering if this issue might be related to using the SIM in the old iPhone SE. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! [Re-Titled by Moderator]

If calls fail your account has not been set up correctly by your carrier. You need to contact them, or take the phone to one of their shops. Wi-Fi calling can’t work if cellular calling doesn’t work.

No, calls fail.

Cellular Data is on but when I select Wi-Fi Calling and try to enable it, I get a message saying to allow Wi-Fi calling I need to contact my carrier.
