Message count not appearing

After updating my iPhone to iOS 16.6, the red bubble indicating how many unread message I have has disappeared

Try checking if Badges is toggled ON here: Settings > Notifications > Messages > Turn on the toggle for Badges

iPhone showing 57 unread messages but all are read I have tried to use option “read all” and they appear as read but icon showing 57 as unread. If new messages are coming count will be increasing… 58,59,60… etc. Tried to restart iPhone several times and to close all applications.
