I have an idea that I cannot believe apple has not added yet. I keep all my texts from my family. After my father died I realized how I wish I had kept every message he had sent so now I don’t delete my family messages. However there are times where I would like to go back to a particular message but I can’t remember when it was sent and have to scroll through thousands of messages. So apple you need to have a text search option within messaging to where I can pull up mom and then search for “recipe” or “appointment” and then every text with that word will show up. If there is already a way to do this let me know! And if apple decides to do this can I get compensation for the idea? Lol

You are NOT speaking with Apple. This is a user to user only forum. You can already search messages for certain words or people, by opening the Messages app, then swipe down from the top of the messages page, to reveal a search bar.

If that is not what you are looking for, Apple does take feature requests, but NO, they will NOT compensate you for any suggestion you make and it says so on the form you fill out here --> Feedback - iPhone - Apple
