Diagonal Keys not working on Macbook Pro

The letters 5, T, G and B on my friends Macbook Pro are not working. They have not had any damage to the laptop or keyboard itself. All of the letters are on a diagonal line and they have tried everything to fix it. What do I do to help or what do they do to fix it.
