Has anybody else experienced this problem? I have the American voice 2 selected / US English, and it switches over to British English and British voice on its own. My working theory is that connecting / disconnecting from a Bluetooth speaker seems to cause it to happen. My question: is there any way to prevent this from happening (short of not connecting to a speaker / having to change it back every time I do)? Thanks in advance!

I woke up with the latest update installed and Apple changed my selected Siri voice to American 1. That raises the question of what other settings it changes without my authorization? And sorry, but perhaps Americans don’t realize it, but the American accent can be rather obnoxious, and the American 1 voice really pushes the envelope of obnoxiousness.

The voice have selected for Siri using the steps outlined on the following page, would be expected to remain until another is selected: Change Siri voice or language
