“This email is already in use with another Apple ID?” custom domain

Hi everyone, I'm trying to add my custom domain to a new account but I can't do that... I requested the elimination for the old account yesterday. I found this thread about the issue, but it is 1y old and the answers were conflicting: some claimed that you could reuse the custom domain in 30days, others in a 60 and others in a year


How much will I have to wait before I can add my custom mail to my new account?

Hi there,


I've had this issue and I got some clarity on it. Basically, you can never use this email address again with Apple. - I know, that's UNREAL and I don't even think there's any legal or technical basis for it.

I even submitted a account deletion request and it still says the email is in use with another Apple ID.
