Esc button with Excel

Has anyone discovered a 'work around' for the Esc button minimising the window whilst using excel. It's very annoying that every time I escape a function the screen reduces!

delete key and arrows not working Hi, in excel on my mac, the delete key and arrows don't seem to work. I go to edit a cell, the curser is at the end of the text, when I click in the middle to edit a minus sign to a times symbol for example, and either delete or use the arrow keys, it just takes the curser to the start of the text in the cell. It won't let me delete or move the curser.

calculator opens on the same window The calculator is a great tool but every time that I use it always it's opens in the same window and it's very anoying. I would like that the calculator opens on the same window that I'm on. How can I fix this? Thanks

Mine doesn't and I've changed no defaults. I'm guessing if you search Excel > Preferences, somewhere in there you'll find a check box that toggles that.

Alternately, ask in an Excel users group.
