How do I stop my child from seeing our wi-fi password on his iPhone? If he taps on it the password is visible. So now I have had to turn off his wi-fi and his phone is using a lot of data. I have screen time set up for him, but don't know how to use it to hide the wi-fi password. I have to put in a passcode to see our wi-fi password on my iPhone, but not his. Mine is an iPhone 11. His is an iPhone SE.

Thank you for the explanation. No, you can’t disable viewing the Wi-Fi password. You could change the device password and remove their FaceID/TouchID so they can’t login to view it.

If you want to remove a saved Wi-Fi password on your child's iPhone, follow these steps from How to forget a Wi-Fi network on iPhone, iPad, or Mac:
Forget a network on iPhone or iPad
To forget the network that you're currently using:
1. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi.
2. Tap the info buttonnext to the network you're using.
3. Tap Forget This Network, then tap Forget to confirm.
To forget a network that you've joined before but aren't currently using:
1. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi.
2. Tap Edit in the corner of the screen to see the networks known to your device.
3. Take either of these actions:
* Tap the delete button, then tap Delete.
* Or tap the info button

Thanks Ben. I do understand how to use the forget password feature. What I want to know is how to lock or remove my child’s ability to see the password of our wi-fi when he is connected to the internet. This happened a few months ago after an update on his iPhone SE. the password is visible- which I don’t want him to have. So, I have clicked wi-if off and ‘forgotten’ it on his phone and now he always uses data. He didn’t used to be able to view the password. Can this be changed?
