Macbook Air M2 Keybord and trackpad

your case is the same as mine. Im using MacBook Air M1 2020. Mei 26 2023, when I was working on the task of making a PPT, suddenly my MacBook keyboard and trackpad couldn't work and only the power button worked. since then my laptop can't be in a sleep mode, if my MacBook sleeps then the keyboard and trackpad won't work so I have to force it to shut down by pressing the power button.Im using latest version of software.

is there a similar case with me?

Had the same freeze problem, but only with the left click on my MacBook Air M2 trackpad. What I tried and works for now is that I turned off Low Power mode even when on Battery only. Try that too if you want

Try and boot in the safe mode to see if the issue is persisting, so you can see if it is an issue caused by external sofware or not

1. On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > Shut Down.
2. Wait for your Mac to shut down completely. A Mac is completely shut down when the screen is black and any lights (including in the Touch Bar) are off.
3. Press and hold the power button on your Mac until “Loading startup options” appears.
4. Select a volume.
5. Press and hold the Shift key, then click Continue in Safe Mode.
6. The computer restarts automatically. When the login window appears, you should see “Safe Boot” in the menu bar.

If you've bought this Mac new, I would return it to the reseller, because this sounds like a hardware problem

Could you try disabling Low Power Mode while on Battery?

I have tried this method, but it doesn't work
