Is there a way to add sites to Safari's Quick Website Search?

I used Sogudi way back in the day and moved on to Smart Keyword Search. Before installing on a new machine, I'm trying to see if there's a way to manually add sites to Safari's built in Quick Website Search.

It appears that that they are added when prompted by code on visited sites. Any work-arounds without adding a 3rd party extension?
