Random AirPods Tracking My Location and I Can’t Do Anything About It

I am very concerned that I got a notification that a random pair of AirPods have been found traveling with me all day and are tracking my location. I do not own AirPods and have never owned AirPods. When I try to disable them in the Find My App, the only instructions displayed require me to have the AirPods with me to disconnect them. The only other option listed is to call the police. I am extremely worried that Apple allows random devices to connect to my phone and track my location just because they are near me without sending me a notification asking permission to connect. I am a single female and now some person is out there tracking my every movement and I can’t do anything about it. Can someone please give me an avenue to prevent this device from tracking me? Is calling the police really the only option I have? What exactly are the police going to do?

Unpair These AirPods:

These are paired to your device through Find My. So, remove these form Find My, and this should not pop up. AirPods are not assigned their own IP Address. So, that is why they are showing up. They are only shown where the device these were paired to was itself connected to the Internet.
