Finder Sort Issue Ventura 13.4.1

In Ventura ( 13.4.1 - Finder does not remember the sort order I've selected. - It always seems to default to sort by name.

I would really like finder to default sort everything by date last opened. I'd used Cmd-J to choose that option but it does not seem to be remembering.

This is happening with my a new MacBook Air, previously running Monterey on my old machine this was not an issue.

Just a couple of things. I don't seem to be having the issue you describe. You do have to set each folder to how you want to sort. If you are still having a problem…

Try booting into Safe Mode then restart normally. That will sometimes fix anomalies. If that doesn't work, post back.
