Ipad air 5 and no facebook reactions

Just recently my ipad air 5th generation stopped allowing me to react to posts and comments on Facebook- likes, loves, wows, cares, etc. I have tried shutting down and restarting, even reported it to FB (they never responded). Is there a fix for this, and is it related to my ipad? The ipad is also skipping letters I type in at times, and sometimes takes away the keyboard in emails I am creating, and only has edit functions (copy, paste, etc) show up.

Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities. We're happy to look into this with you.

Have you confirmed that the iOS version you have installed on your iPad is compatible with Facebook? If you haven't checked that, you can do so by visiting the apps description page in App Store.

If compatibility isn't a concern, then working with Facebook support would be your best option.

This is a fairly new ipad (about a year) with a fairly new iOS version, and I have had no problems on FB before the last few days. If it was only FB it would be one thing, I am having other problems as well, as I mentioned in my request. I will call Apple care, but was hoping someone had an answer.
