Apps not full screen on ipad

After last update 18.1, apps like facebook, email, google are no longer full page on my iPad. Worked fine until update. Spent one hour on phone with apple support and could not fix problem. Any suggestions?

I had the same problem, it was driving me mad. I found the solution…..In multitasking and gestures turn multitasking off
