Siri can’t control my lights

I told Siri on my home pod to turn the lights off in it and she said on it and she said it was taking too long. Same with my iPhone. I can control the lights from the app not using Siri. How do I control my lights from Siri?

Siri only controls light with iPhone Hi My house is full of Hue lights and in one room in particular Siri will only control those lights with iPhone. If I ask with my Apple Watch or HomePod she says she is doing it, or sending the request, but nothing happens. All other rooms and lights can be controlled with Siri on any device. Before I start ripping lights out of the Hue app and messing things up I thought I would ask here. Any ideas? Thanks!

Turn on Siri confirmation on home pods Recently Siri no longer confirms turning on or off lights using home pod. Haven’t changed any settings. How do I get it back?

Just now Siri did turn off the lights? How come she didn’t turn them off before?
