Wondering which iPhone model you are using, and which iOS version is installed.

(Eg: About iOS 16 Updates - Apple Support says iOS 16.5.1 is the latest version.)

and

whether you have checked with your carrier whether there is a problem.

You may want to check which ringtone(s) you have set, and choose longer ringtones you will hear:

Eg: check your "Contacts" app to choose the ringtone for a particular caller,

(ie: tap a person’s name, tap Edit, then choose a ringtone)
