iCloud junk mail filtering Issue

As I understand it iCloud decides what is junk at the server level and it cannot be switched off and settings cannot be changed? Altering mail settings on yr Mac makes no difference???

This is completely ridiculous! It actually means that you have to check your junk folder everyday to see if iCloud has arbitrarily decided that some important email is junk (this happens all the time) marking mail as not junk makes no difference **** even mail that is not junk {coloured black not brown) ends up in this folder. Are apple actually trying to get people to bin their email system? It certainly seems like it!

I agree that iCloud Junk mail is completely ridiculous.

It is putting into Junk mail all the following legitimate emails

  1. Emails from postmaster@icloud .com reporting non-delivery
  2. Emails from reportphishing@apple.com
  3. Replies (bcc’d to my iCloud.com account) I have sent from my iCloud account when the email to which I am replying was received into the iCloud Inbox

This is clearly stupid!

I’m having to check the iCloud Junk folder every day to retrieve my legitimate emails.

One needs to be able to switch it off at the Server
