Mail flag colors out of order on pop-up

When I right-click on an email in the Mail app, I get a list of flag colors that go:

Orange, Red, Purple, Blue, Yellow, Green, Grey

but when I sort emails by flag color, the order is:

Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, Grey.

This bug has existed for years. Why it that?

Running:

MacOS Ventura 13.4 on a Mac Mini 2023; Mail app Version 16.0 (3731.600.7)

Mac mini, macOS 12.6

Mail app highlights some of the emails as if they were selected I've been having this problem with my mail app on MacOS (Ventura 13.2.1) where some of the email look as if they were selected or highlighted but I cannot undo it. I don't understand the order why some of them are "selected" while others aren't. It look like this: Do you have any ideas how I can fix it? Or is it a general bug and I should wait for the update? If so, where can I submit the bug?

Mac Mail - Smart Mailbox - Flag colors Does anyone else think it's crazy that you can't specify which "color" flag goes into a smart mailbox. It prevents you from assigning any tags or grouping to your mail. All you get is EVERY flagged email which includes those flagged by all sorts of senders. It makes this feature useless. Also the inability to clear a flag bug which has been around forever. PS- Changing the color of any flag in the smart mailbox also seem to change all of them at once. This implementation is seriously broken.

How to change flag order (back to normal) in Mail on Ventura? Apple flag color order is still mixed up in Mail since Catalina. In all other apps the color order is red - orange - yellow - green - blue - purple (which is not even purple in Mail) - gray; yet up to this day Mail shows them in a mix. Is there a way I can rearrange the color order to match the rest of the OS settings, or would Apple finally listen to all the complains throughout the past few years and get the job done? Any support comment, please?
