Software update required to connect to iPhone: not available from Update Server (Ventura/iOS17 )

Booting in Safe Mode doesn't work at all. When will Apple fix this?

I have the same problem with my iPhone 13 with IOS 17.5.1.

Its a IOS 17 problem, tried older versions on Itunes, same problem.

Connet my good old Iphone 7 (with IOS 15 ) to the same Imac with the same Itunes and that was working PEFECT!!!

Who has a solution???? I backup now using Windows 11 with Itunes.

I'm having the same issue, and iOS 17 is now released, no longer in preview state.

Boot into Safe Mode according to How to use safe mode on your Mac, connect your iPhone and click on the Install button from there.

Note:  if you have a wireless keyboard with rechargeable batteries connect it with its charging cable before booting into Safe Mode.  This makes it act as a wired keyboard as will assure a successful boot into Safe Mode.

Did you get this notification popup?

I just got it while plugging in my iPhone after the latest security update for Ventura.

Did you click on Install?

This is probably because IOS 17 is in preview state.

I have the same problem. I have a MacBook Pro using High Sierra and attached my new iPhone 15 pro. I click the upgrade feature and eventually says it cannot upgrade due to "network problem."

My phone states its up to date however i get nowhere
