Final Cut Pro on High Sierra

Hi,

I am trying to install FinalCut Pro on macOS High Sierra (ver 10.13.6) and keep getting this message

"Final Cut Pro can’t be installed on “Macintosh HD”.

Can anyone give me a solution to install FinalCut. Do I need to upgrade to a different OS. If so, which one.

Thanks in advance

Indy

If you bought FCP before you need to go to your Purchased page and use the cloud download button.

If you want to buy it that's more difficult. You have to get access to a Mac that is running macOS Monterey 12.6 or later. On that machine you have to make the purchase using your Apple ID. Once you've bought the application, on your High Sierra system on the purchased page when you download the application you'll be offered that last available for your system, which I think will be version 10.4.6.
