Usb c does not work on my relatively new Ipad pro 12.9 computer.

Does anyone else have this problem? It works occasionally so I charge it when I can do so. Is there a fix for this? I think I would be embarrassed if this was a defect on this top of the line ipad. Help. What should I do?

Other than charging via the USB-C port, what are you attempting to connect to your iPad? What, specifically, happens when you try?
