Card won't add to Apple Pay The card I had been using for Apple Pay for a year stopped working. It won't let me add the new card, citing an incorrect expiration date. The expiration date is accurate. I've deleted the card from my wallet and have restarted my phone, but the problem persists. My bank says this is an issue with Apply Pay, not the card. I use the card frequently otherwise. Previous forums mention entering a 4-digit year in the expiration date option, but the app does not provide the option to enter the date in manually. How do I tell if Apple Pay updated my credit card expiration date? My credit card was about to expire and I received a new one with a different expiration date. I know Apple Pay can sometimes update it automatically, but how do I tell if that happened? I can’t find any place where it shows the expiration date. I thought I would just enter the card again to be sure it would work, but Apple says the card is already in there, which it is, with either the new or old expiration date. I tried to delete the card so I could add it fresh, but Apple won’t let me because it’s linked to some subscriptions, which is why I wanted to update it. I feel like this is a frustrating logic loop. Do I just need to wait and see if my purchases and subscriptions start failing to get paid?

In Apple Pay the card info should be updated automatically by your bank or card issuer.

If it is not updated you will need to remove the card entirely and add it again with the new expiration date.
