Water damage screen unresponsive

Hi, my phone got dropped in water and the screen turned green and now it is a mixture or green tones and totally black however the phone is still working and I can still receive messages etc but the screen is totally unresponsive. iCloud hadn’t backup up so now I am desperate to find away to unlock my phone so it will connect to the Wi-Fi and back up. Because the phone restarted it needs the passcode - which I can’t input because of the unresponsive screen. I have tried using a usb connected to keyboard but it needs me to select - ‘trust device’ which I can’t do, same issue when I connect to a computer. It’s really frustrating as all I need to do is find a way to put the code in to have my iCloud back up automatically.

Does anyone have any solutions or know if there is any way to accomplish this?

Regarding your data…

If you have an iCloud or iTunes latest backup, then there is nothing to worry about. If not read more...
You have synced your data to iCloud, then what you will get back is what you have synced to iCloud and uploaded to iCloud Drive; the information that is synced and stored in iCloud are, Contacts, Calendars, Bookmarks, Mail, Notes, Voice Memos, shared photos, iCloud Photos*, Health data, call history, and files you store in iCloud Drive. (*-If you had turned on iCloud Photos, your content is automatically stored in iCloud.)
You have imported your Photos & Videos to Mac/PC then they are safely residing there on Mac/PC
You have uploaded some of it to Cloud Drives using the Files app (iCloud Drive, Google Drive, OneDrive, DropBox, Flickr, box, AmazonDrive, Adobe Creative Cloud etc). The data remains there.
If you have not backed up or do not have the latest backup, nor imported nor you have synced or uploaded your data to cloud drives prior to the situation that you are in, then I am sorry, all your data is lost.

Yes thanks for your reply! I have most of my stuff back up however as as I was on holiday and didn’t always have Wi-Fi my phone hadn’t backup up the last 5 days (with all my pictures) so it’s really just this and I just need to find a way to override /input the passcode to connect to Wi-Fi

I recommend that you connect that iPhone to electrical power and leave it around a Wi-Fi Network overnight. The next day, you can log in to 👉 www.icloud.com on a separate device and check to see whether there was a backup created on iCloud.

Hi thanks for reply. I have tried this and and I think ordinarily it would work however as my phone restarted it requires a passcode for the first time after turning on, because I can’t input this it will not connect to Wi-Fi which is really frustrating 😂😩
