If I purchase a Mac Studio, I would need a Display. Could I use my old iMac 27" late 2013 w 3.5Ghz Quad Core Intel 7 CPU , with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 775M 2 GB as my Monitor?

iMacs introduced in 2013 support Target Display Mode – with a Thunderbolt connection. That in and of itself would make use with newer Macs uneconomical, as you'd need a TB3-to-TB2 adapter on top of a TB cable.


But the new restriction that "the other Mac that you're connecting it to must have been introduced in 2019 or earlier and have macOS Catalina or earlier installed" is a real killer. It means that even though that iMac supports TDM, you can't use it as a display for a Mac Studio.
