Allow users to disable badge notifications for specific conversations in messenger

I don't want badge notifications for every group chat, but I do want these badge notifications for most other conversations. Swiping left on the conversation in the list, and tapping the purple bell is the common resolution I see here, but that doesn't disable badge notifications for that specific conversation. Is there a feature available / when will a feature be added to turn off ALL notifications (including badge notification numbers) for a specific chat without having to turn off these notifications for other chats?
