AirPods Pro 2 case not making sound when charging

I have the Pro 2, but for some reason today they didn’t make the sound when I plugged them in. I left them plug to see if the case would charge and it still did. I checked if I had the option enable in the settings and it was enable. Is their a problem with my case?
