What is the best MacBook for apps like Illustrator?

Hello, I'm considering buying a new MacBook for using programs like Illustrator, Photoshop, and Blender. I'm looking for a series that can handle these programs without any difficulty. What could be a suitable option?

You want a Pro or Max variant of a MacBook Pro with 32GB RAM minimum, at least a 1TB internal drive, and optional additional GPU order option for more GPU cores than standard. MacBook Pro because of its internal fans that the Adobe applications will cause to spin up and your likely need of portability.

You will want at least a 3 TB Time Machine drive, and an additional suitably sized external drive to store your artwork.

Purchase to where the increases in operating system and Adobe application demands have grown in a few short years.

If you don't like the idea of subscribing to Adobe applications, then consider the power in the Affinity applications such as Designer 2.1 and Photos 2.1 available as free trials from Affinity and purchases from their site or the Mac App Store. These are what I use.

Yes, 16 - 32 GB RAM and a top notch processor - i 7. And you want to make sure that your internal drive is an SSD - large enough to retain at least enough space to process the temp files in your project which can be 100+ GB. Even with all of that, it is an intense process and will slow the machine; don't do anything else with it.

The most basic iMac model was not intended for RAM and processor hungry photo/video editing/processing apps; it is good for browsing, email, and other light usage.
