I accidentally removed a lost device from my apple ID. Is there a way I can remotely add it back

Please, my phone was stolen and the thief had access to my phone password (Not icloud password), I tried removing the password remotely as saw a slab on appleid to remove the device. I did only to realize I removed the barrier from breaking into my phone. Is there a way I can remotely add the device back? I want the device to be locked
