Does Apple Books charge a monthly fee subscription? I’m new to this so forgive me in advance. AudioBooks claims if you purchase an audio book on Amazon that you can use their app for free to listen. However, AudioBooks wants a monthly subscription in order for me to listen to it? Am I missing something? Does Apple Books charge a monthly subscription as well?

Does a purchased download immediately? Does an audiobook purchased from Apple download immediately? When I check out an audiobook from the library, they download slowly chapter by chapter.
