Music App Keeps Crashing Every Five-or-so Minutes

Lately, I updated my iPhone 13 Pro to 16.4.1, which did introduce some nice changes to how the playlists are structured, but the music app keeps freezing then crashing. Once it restarts, it starts on the previous or next previous track played, and resumes normally for a little bit. Any ideas?

iPhone music library freeze when deleting “next playing” song Ever since the iOS 16.4 update, while listening to my purchased or downloaded music in my library on the music all, the whole app will freeze when I delete the first “playing next” song. It doesn’t freeze if I delete the third or seventh or fifteenth, only the first. It’s not responsive if I try to pause the song or cycle to the next track. But it will let me swipe up to go to my Home Screen or to my running apps or swipe down from the top to access my notifications or my control center. It just freezes the music app. And when I try to swipe the running app upwards to stop it, the music will keep playing for like 5 seconds before stopping. Then I can open the music app back up, hit play, try to delete the first song in “playing next, and it does it all over again. I’ve tried a hard restart/reset, I’ve looked for further updates, I’ve tried turning it off and back on. Nothing is fixing this problem.

Apple Music freezing on iPad Since updating to iOS 17 on my iPad Apple Music keeps freezing. It plays 2-3 songs then stops. I have reset the iPad and uninstalled and restored the app. Help!

See if closing the app and force restart helps: 在 iPhone 上的 Keynote 讲演中邀请他人协作 – Apple Support (AU)

If not offload the app and download it again.

I’ve tried force restarting multiple tomes, and offloading didn’t solve the issue. I’ve never encountered this problem before the update.

You might have to delete the app, download it again and then rebuild your library. You can always ask Official Apple Support

Is there a VPN in the mix? If so, delete it, restart, and test again.
