I've connected my iPad to the computer but it says that no device has been detected (im using a windows)

To synchronise or transfer files directly between iPad and a Windows PC, you will need to install the most recent version of iTunes for Windows:

Download and use iTunes for Windows – Apple Support

Update to the latest version of iTunes – Apple Support


You should note that the current version of iTunes for Windows requires either a Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC.


If your iPad isn’t recognised when connected, try using a different USB port; if your computer has both USB-C and USB Type-A ports, try a Type-A port. Otherwise, this support page should help with troubleshooting connection difficulties:
