iPhone to PC, specifically windows PC

Is it possible that is my cord is the problem why my iPhone cant detect my pc and my pc doesn't detect my iPhone? it is only charging. Btw I'm jot using the original cable comes with the iPhone.

Iphone 16 Pro Max is not compatible with Mac OS Ventura I tried to sync my new Iphone 16 Pro Max to my MacBook Pro running Mac OS Ventura 13.7. My Mac would not recognize that my phone is connected. I tried multiple USB-C cables, updated both, the iPhone and Mac to the latest software updates available, but nothing seems to work. My Mac is the 15" from 2017. Any info on when apple will fix this?
