I just purchased a new Mac mini and an LG monitor. The LG monitor does not have an integrated camera. I have an iSight camera but it connects with a firewire which the mini doesn't accept. How do I solve this problem?

As for using an iSight Camera via FireWire, you'll easily spend as much money on adapters and dongles to maybe get that to work here as you would spend on a USB-C webcam. And a modern camera can have much better resolution.

All that being said about the cost of adapters, my son-in-law has loaned me the two adapters to get my external Firewire iSight connected to my 2020 M1 Mac mini and my 2014 Mac mini, (I know it already works on my 2011 Mac mini).
Anyone with the information on how to obtain and install the necessary kexts?

What macOS version are you trying to connect to?
The iSight camera was introduced in2003 (?), long before macOS was made 64-bit clean, so unless those kexts were updated they may be 32-bit relics and incompatible with 10.15 Catalina and newer.
It would cheaper to just buy a decent USB web cam, than it is to buy the 2 Apple adapters that are needed to go from USB-C to FireWire.
