I just noticed there is a MacOnlineUpdateV31L37Up file on my desk top. It wasn't on the desk top earlier today.

The icon for it looks like an external device. When I right click, an eject option opens.

What is is? Why is it there?

Generally, updates happen in the background. I haven't seen something like this before.

When I go to Get Info, it indicates it was created in February but I've only seen it today.
