Zoom Privacy permissions to use camera and microphone

I had the issue of Zoom telling me I needed to enable permission for it to use the Camera and Microphone, but when I went to Settings > Security & Privacy > Camera, it just said "Apps that have requested access to your camera will appear here". But Zoom didn't appear there, so I couldn't enable it.

I tried restarting, creating a new user, and resetting privacy permissions with these commands

tccutil reset Microphone
tccutil reset Camera

But none of that worked.

This old thread shows the same problem

Access to camera and microphone - Apple Community

The solution for me was to

1. Turn off SIP.

2. Delete /Library/Application Support/com.apple.TCC/TCC.db

3. Turn on SIP.

Just posting this here for when someone else faces the same problem.

P.S. it's dumb that I can't post this as a reply to that old thread above...

Thank you so much! Nothing I had read in any other threads had worked and I was about to lose my mind. GOAT
