No audio through the iPad speakers when a Sony DualSense or DualShock is connected to the USB-C port. Sound is directed to gamepad’s headphone jack.

I am puzzled why I cannot just divert audio back to the iPad speakers when a control settings allow for audio to be diverted to a BT or other iOS/MacOS/AirPlay system in my vicinity.


With that being said, if I use BT to connect the gamepad it won’t divert the audio to the gamepad, but allow it to be heard through the iPad/iPhone. This is not the best solution since the controller will need to be charged, and latency will be worse using BT instead of a direct USB connection.
