Photo Screen Saver not working after Ventura update

I updated Ventura to 13.3.1 and since then my Photo screen saver only displays photos on one of my three screens. The other two screens say "No Photos"

My configuration is 2021 14" Mac Book Pro M1, I have a Startech Docking station driving 2 external monitors.

The screen saver was working fine prior to the update. I used the Photo Wall screen saver and selected my Photos Library as the images source.

Monitor 1 and the Mac Book screen display. "NO PHOTOS" while Monitor in the middle will present photos.

I've tried all of the other photo screen savers and they all only display on one monitor or don't display at all.

This happens on both accounts I have. I also exported some photos to a folder and selected the folder over the Photos library.

Any help is much appreciated.

Same issue here, similar setup. I find if I unplug/replug the USB-C to HDMI cable I’m using from the back of the iMac, the photos will display correctly the first time the screensaver comes on. It reverts back to the “NO PHOTOS” screen thereafter. The photos are stored on the local drive, I suspect this is an issue with the video drivers. In addition to the second monitor I use my iPad with a linked keyboard and mouse. The screensaver has worked in the past using this same hardware, I believe the Ventura update is at fault. Hope this helps.

Ventura 13.3.1 (a)

iMac Retina 5K, 27” (2017)

3.4GHz Quad i5

Radeon Pro 570 (4GB)

ASUS 27” VG27AQL1A 2560x1440 (rotated)

I tried safe mode and the issue persisted.

I also created a dummy account and turned off all the login startup items. Still no fix.

I then updated to Ventura 13.4 and the issue seems to be resolved.

When the screen saver first starts it will display "No Photos" on one or both external monitors but after a couple of seconds photos will appear.

I went through the release notes and there was no mention of the issue being resolved by 13.4 but what ever they did must have fixed it.
