"Internal Error" when choosing a song on alarm clock in iOS 16.4.1

Hi community, when I open the Clock app > Edit Alarm > Sound > Pick a song, I get this error: Internal error, The requested app extension could not be found. There are like 30 posts out there from over the last few years with this same question, and the answer appears to be that I have to download the Music app. If that's the case why doesn't Apple change the error message? Furthermore, did Apple ever stop to consider nobody wants the Music app and all the extra baggage? Consumers are looking for a streamlined fast experience, not a slow corporate/government/oligopoly tracking device. The consumer has become the product.

Anyway, my goal is to play my song as an alarm. I tried a few different apps with no luck. If anyone has a better method let me know.

Restart the device. That's it.
Still not solved --> Force restart iPhone - Apple Support
