Streaming is very dark

I have: Apple TV 4K (1st gen.);TV OS 16.4.1; HDMI firmware 1.136; Belkin Ultra HD HDMI cable; Samsung Serif QLED 4K UHD Quantum. Standard TV viewing (cable) is excellent ( brightness, etc.) Streaming with Apple TV has always been very dark and difficult to view. 2 recommended "remedies" have been tried (and re-tried): 1) Systems>Accessibility>Display Accommodations>Light Sensitivity Adjustment; 2)Systems>General>Appearance>select light, dark, or automatic. Neither of these "remedies" have worked. Before considering switching to a different streaming device, I thought I would ask for any further suggestions.

Thank you for your reply. In my posting, I did say that I had tried Display Accommodations, but that didn't help. I also mentioned that my Samsung reception (brightness, etc.) is excellent.

We'd be happy to get you headed in the right direction. If content on your Apple TV isn't bright enough, you can use Display Accommodations on your Apple TV to increase the brightness. You can learn how to do that here: Use Display Accommodations on your Apple TV - Apple Support
