I have an iMac running iOS version 11.7.3. I just updated my iPhone SE2 to 16.4.1. Now the photos in my phone's Photo App will not backup to the Photo App on my computer. The iMac Finder window just hangs at the "Preparing to Import from iPhone" stage.
Does anybody have any thoughts? Thanks

What are your format settings on your phone? macOS 11.7 may not be handling the new HEIC format. Try setting "iPhone>Settings>Camera>Formats" to "Most Compatible." And set "iPhone>Settings>Phtotos>Transfer" to "Automatic" and see if that helps.
